Some of these pdf 'Parts" only contain 1 or 2 or 3 images. Partly this is because the images are so detailed, and partly because the program has outsmarted me!
“John Hart, Signer; NJ Colonial Currency & The Declaration of Independence” (12 minutes) is the first lecture in a new series presenting six biographies of men who signed both the Declaration of Independence — and Colonial or Continental currency. John Hart had a stellar reputation in NJ politics, but died young after a painful bout with “gravel” (kidney stones). Due to his prolific signing of NJ notes, in a bold hand, he is a favorite among ‘signer’ collectors. Due to a dubious decision by John Trumbull, Hart’s image was left out of his monumental “Declaration of Independence” painting — & on many subsequent notes.
